Program Description:

§  Orientation week before classes start allows you to meet new students and adjust to life in the UK
§ The students' union supports a wide range of national, cultural and religious societies that are open to all students at Sheffield
Friendly, vibrant, multicultural, safe, and with a cost of living is 25% lower than London, Sheffield is a great city. Whether you enjoy clubs or sports, the cinema, theatre or live music, Sheffield is bursting with life.
§ Excellent international student support.

Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in England with 150 woodlands and 50 public parks within the city. The greenery is throughout the city from the centre, where the Winter Gardens is Europe's largest city centre temperate glasshouse, to the countryside, where the Peak District national park is only ten minutes away from the University.

There is a wide range of accommodations for you to choose from. The most affordable option for you is university accommodation.

Students are responsible for their own trans-pacific transportation. Local transportation is also the responsibility of the student.

The University of Sheffield offers students majoring in Materials Science or Ceramic Engineering an excellent opportunity to study engineering abroad in English.

AU students must apply through the Office of International Programs on this site. Click “Apply Now” above to open an advising application; you will be prompted to complete a questionnaire about your study abroad plans, and then you can schedule a time to meet with our coordinator.
