Located in the southernmost part of Scandinavia, Denmark is the gateway between Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. Denmark is a coastal country with long white beaches. The landscape is most flat with rolling hills, green fields and woods. Because of the flat landscape, the bicycle is the preferred means of urban transport.
University of Aarhus coordinates a few rooms in each residence hall. The other rooms in the halls are occupied by Danish students and not available to international students.
Students are responsible for their own trans-pacific transportation. Local transportation is also the responsibility of the student. Most Danish students bike, but you can walk or take the bus. Public transportation in Aarhus is fast and efficient.
